What makes them sustainable?

Encircled is built on sustainability. They use natural and Oeko-Tex(R) 100 certified sustainable fabrics for their items. They produce locally to minimize their carbon footprint, and always use recycled and recyclable materials for their packaging.

Do they have ethical policies in place?

Yes. Throughout there supply chain there is evidence that they pay their workers a fair and living wage. The final stage of production is done at home in Canada, but they do regular visit their international suppliers to ensure that everything is good. The only animal product they use is wool.

Is their shipping carbon neutral or sustainable?

There is no evidence of carbon off-setting or carbon-neutral shipping. However, they produce most of their items locally in order to reduce their carbon footprint and to ensure quality.

Is their packaging sustainable or recyclable?

Encircled uses 100% recyclable packaging. Their paper and eco-friendly cleaning products are FSC-certified - guaranteeing environmental and social responsibility. They do not use plastic.
