Tentree creates eco-friendly essentials using the most sustainable materials in the world. Every time you purchase an item, they plant 10 trees. Their mission is to give back to the environment by reforesting the Earth with their eco-conscious women's, men's, and children's apparel.

Tentree uses many eco-friendly materials including organic cotton and tencel and they use renewable energy in their supply chain to reduce environmental impact. They also use sustainable packaging made from recycled materials, which can also be recycled.

They seem ethical! They of course put the environment first, which is a good start. They trace most of their supply chain including all of the final stage of production, although there is no evidence they ensure a living wage throughout all stages of their supply chain. They do not use any animal products, but they have not labeled themselves as a vegan company.

Tentree has a goal of becoming carbon positive, meaning that they are going beyond "off-setting." They do this by planting trees worldwide, but you can also choose to "offset" the carbon of your online order by paying $5 CAD.

Tentree uses recycled materials for their packaging bags, and also uses recyclable cardboard boxes.
